Christmas at Select City Walk, Delhi

I love Christmas. I love Select City Walk. I love Select City Walk during Christmas. Moral of the story. Its unarguably one of the best malls Delhi has and the reasons are numerous. But we are not going there..for the sake of my wallet. So let’s concentrate on why I took these pictures in the first place. Christmas Carnival! Select City Walk is known to put up fancy and exquisite christmas decorations every year. From white christmas to giant pine trees, they have done it all.

This year I was equally excited to see what these creative minds came up with. The huge christmas tree is almost touching the roof. They have done it with red, gold and silver bells. Okay lets admit it isn’t as breathtaking as I imagined it to be but more Christmasy than anywhere else in Delhi. The lawn is more prettier. They have put up this huge Christmas ball which lights up at night making the place look cheerful and festive. Aong side they have these kiosks selling amazing stuff at bargain prices which they call the Christmas mela or carnival. I was there this week to attend a store launch and had to go through the whole mall just for the decorations. I couldn’t get a chance to visit Mr. DLF Place in the neighbourhood but I’m sure he is quite jealous at the beauty of his neighbour. I’m planning to go back to Saket on the 25th December to catch up with my friends so look forward to pictures of DLF Mall too. Enjoy the pictures for now!
