I’m pretty sure you know it was my sister’s wedding last month..because I was shouting out my bridesmaid duties from the rooftops! Shopping for Indian wear is a hundred times difficult than your ordinary daily clothes and you can’t just buy them online that easily. So the entire September I was out in the sun everyday searching for THE lehenga from chandni chowk to karol bagh, lajpat nagar to kamla nagar..and it took a toll on not just my blogging schedule but my hair and skin as well. Finally the wedding came and to my horror my hair was all dry and frizzy which no amount of hair styling could fix.
It was my sister’s mehendi, a day before the wedding, and I quickly made an appointment for my favourite hair spa at Afinity Salon, Pitampura. As usual I picked up a new hair spa from Wella to try and the guys recommended me the Wella Elements hair spa. I quickly agreed because I have the shampoo and hair mask from the same range in my shower kit and they are absolutely great! You can read my detailed review of the products there.
With my hair in such a bad state I was a little nervous if the spa would work and if it would have lasting results because the wedding was next day but my hair looked super smooth and soft and it the conditioning took care of all the frizz. I opted for a mild blow dry because I was going to get them styled the next day anyway. And believe me the hair spa made my life so much easier while getting my hair dome for the wedding, it was already smooth and tamed so we didn’t have to do much.
I also got a haircut which added some layers and volume to my hair. If you have not been giving your hair proper time and nourishment then I recommend the Wella Elements hair spa to you. After trying it I looked in my element (okay bad pun!) If you want to see some pictures of me from the wedding then head over to my instagram (@vanitynoapologies) where I have posted a few.
