Liva Fluid Fashion Event at Amazon India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2017

Fashion week has become exciting over the years! From being that little girl in the crowd to actively working with brands and designers, I think I have come a long way. But doesn’t mean its easy! Every season before the fashion week begins, the madness starts! From what to wear to who to endorse, from which shows to attend to who to hang out with..its always tiring! This year Liva Fashion invited me over to attend a #FluidIsYou masterclass with ace stylists and designers at the Amazon India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2017. This made my life a little bit easier.

I decided to dress up in Liva for the event. I bought myself a blue high neck kurta with a red skirt to channel my desi avatar. Sometimes my fashion week outfits can get uncomfortable (because..hello fashion!) but this time it was a breeze. Not only because ethnic is comfortable but the fluid fabric the brand uses which makes it easier for you to move and breathe without constantly checking on your outfit. Also I have got a little bit of a tummy because of all the festivities (I know!) and the fabric hugs me at the right places making me look slim!

The event started with Freishia introducing Mr. Manohar Samuel who talked about Liva and how it has evolved over the years from just a textile distributor to a complete fashion brand in itself. Then we got introduced to Mr. Nelson Jaffery who spoke about the fluid designs of Liva and their comfort. I couldn’t agree more. After that Freishia introduce Mr. Naresh Batra who got into the marketing bit and explained in detail about the core concept behind their new campaign “Fashion Is You”.

We also got a glimpse of the first ever tvc by the brand. The video in one word was mindblowing! There are tvcs and then there are tvcs which make an impact on you. It shows an everyday girl playing different roles from a mom to a best friend through out the day transitioning into them with ease and fluidity with Liva breathing life into her wardrobe and comfort. As a woman I could instantly relate to the campaign video Angira, because being a full time blogger I also play quite a different roles from an entrepreneur to a model, from a stylist to sometimes a tech coder! With our lives being so hectic, every woman deserves clothing which is fluid and comfortable..something which will support her throughout her day without demanding extra energy and time.

After the campsign video, we then interacted with Freishia about what fluidity means to us and how it translates into our lives. Then we had Ridhimma Kapoor with us to share tidbits from her life! I have always loved that woman so it was a pleasant surprise to see her talk in person. It was lovely to see all the bloggers and celebrities connecting over Liva.
