Orange Is The New Black

Hello there! I just got done replying to a sea of emails and comments and before I go binge watch the newest season of the 5th season of Orange Is The New Black (yep that’s where I got the title inspo from!), I want to quickly update you on some of my new wardrobe pieces I’m loving.

I recently shopped from IMAIMA after looking at the minimalist designs and outfits from Spring Summer 17 collection. The colours and cuts are clean, simple, sophisticated and luxurious. I styled 3 outfits from their collection which I will show you in 2 blog posts.

In this post I have styled their orange cotton shift dress with cold shoulder. I carried their hand embroidered biker jacket in vanilla with me because it was a particularly windy day with some drizzling. When I shot the look, the sun suddenly came out of nowhere! Sometimes you just can’t be sure of the weather I guess. The Nalani jacket has metallic sequin and bead embellishment with oriental floral detailing. It is fully-lined and has zipped cuffs and an asymmetric zip fastening at the front.

I paired the look with basic white sneakers and a white structured satchel. Added a classic black watch and nerdy glasses to complete the look. I tried to keep the look simple and basic, just how I like it while hanging out with my girls.
