Valentine’s Day With Fresh Look

freshlook-colour-contact-lenses-sapphire-blue

I have so many friends who wear coloured lenses on a daily basis but somehow I never gave them a try..until now. After a nudge (or two) from a friend I decided to give Freshlook coloured contact lenses a go! Because I love colours, I went for the most colourful lenses I could find in freshlook lenses via smytten.com

I was looking at my wardrobe to see what outfits I can put together for my Valentine’s look when this idea came to me, instead of coordinating everything with my dress why not coordinate everything to my new lenses..which is how these two looks came out! Continue Reading…

Max Presents Elite Model Look 2017

max-fashion-elitemodellook-lookbook-collection-finale

Recently I had the pleasure of working with Max Fashion team for Elite Model Look 2017. I attended the regional round in Delhi which you guys must remember from my instagram posts. I picked two of the winners and styled them in Max outfits after which I went on to attend the finale held in JW Marriott, Goa on 29th September. It was such a great experience meeting the people behind Max fashion and EML and I got to see the hard work that goes behind everything. But I’m sure you caught up with all those fun stories I did from there, what a night! Continue Reading…

Orange Is The New Black

Hello there! I just got done replying to a sea of emails and comments and before I go binge watch the newest season of the 5th season of Orange Is The New Black (yep that’s where I got the title inspo from!), I want to quickly update you on some of my new wardrobe pieces I’m loving.

I recently shopped from IMAIMA after looking at the minimalist designs and outfits from Spring Summer 17 collection. The colours and cuts are clean, simple, sophisticated and luxurious. I styled 3 outfits from their collection which I will show you in 2 blog posts. Continue Reading…

leeco-Le-Max2-review-price-specifications-features-comparison-buy-online

In the age of technology, comes a new tech master, Le Eco, to hit the Indian smart phone market like a storm. Le Eco has already made a ton of hype on twitter, facebook, and other social medias, you name it. With a great line up of affordable smart phones with new CDLA (continual digital loseless audio) technology, it’s only a small wonder why everyone is going brohuaha over it. I already have Le 2 as you saw in my last post, but I also got Le Max 2 which I will review today. Le Eco Le Max 2 comes in two variants: Continue Reading…

Play Unscripted

john-players-spring-summer-2016-collection-playunscripted

This is the first time I’m writing for boys! Over the past 6 years I have received a lot of mails from boys for not writing about them..mostly what colours to wear, which products to use, which brands to try, how to style, etc etc and its no surprise because when it comes to fashion, men are more clueless than their prettier counterparts. I said it! So I decided to get you some styling advice from a guy who knows his stuff. He is my cousin (it runs in the family you see) and spends almost all his earnings on jeans and shoes. If you ask him where all his money is..he would say he is wearing it. So who better than him to give some summer styling tips to all the men out there. John  Players recently invited us to explore their new men’s spring summer collection and I took him along so we could have some fun together while working. Continue Reading…

Its gonna be another flip flop summer

indian-street-style--lifestyle-blogger

Honestly I have always preferred winters over summers. But one can’t deny that summer style is the best! Who needs layering when you can flaunt those worked out arms and abs in the flowy summer clothing. Talking of work outs, I have recently joined a fitness class where we mix cardio with dance and yoga. After I graduate in cardio a little bit (never had proper exercise in my life!) I would be joining a gym soon for strength training. I’m also looking over my diet which really just means eating a lot of home cooked meals and skipping everything packaged and imported. Seasonal and local food is the best when you are watching your weight. If you want me to talk about my diet and fitness in detail then let me know and I will do a post on it. Continue Reading…

Mother of Dragons

sports-luxe-indian-fashion

My favourite character in Game of Thrones? Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of Meereen, Queen of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons.

Raise your hand if you Monday mornings have turned blue again ever since the season 5 of Game of Thrones got finished. I know! And why hasn’t George RR Martin released Winds of Winter already? Why does he HAVE to take a million years with each book. If I were on Iron Throne, I would have sent him to the Wall already. Wait, that’s what Joffrey Baratheon would have done. If first impressions were last impressions, I wouldn’t have done this post. At first glance I dismissed the whole GoT series as porn. Later after a few friends insisted and I finally gave the dragon magic another try. I am one of those strange people who love spoilers. Suspense bothers me. So much that I can’t sleep until I know what’s gonna happen next..whether its a sit com, a book, a party or a gift. I GOTS to know! So it should not come as a surprise that I already know all Game of Thrones fan theories and predictions. So if you are a GoT enthusiast then talk to me and I will happily discuss everything. It’s you. It’s always been you.

party-outfit-of-the-day-fashion-blogger

The weather in Delhi has got warmer over the last week. And I am actually quite bummed about it. I hate layering up. Yet I love winter. Its like I can’t survive with it but can’t live without it either. That’s how most things in my life work. I love them and I love to hate them. The winters are still chilly but the sun is coming out almost everyday now so I have put my scarfs and shawls away. I turned 24 last week and spent the day in doing absolutely nothing. Researching new eat outs on Zomato doesn’t count, right? I took a trip down south too, but that deserves a whole new post. So if you thought I was royally ignoring the blog then you aren’t entirely right. I’ve been busy doing….things. When I started Petite Peeve, I promised myself I would never stress myself over it like I do over VNA. Its more of a creative outlet for me and intend to keep it that way.

February is here, with all the cutesy things. Its makes me feel like a school girl all over again. Roses, chocolates, candles, cards..I am lucky that my bag is always buzzing with surprises. I am not big on Valentine’s day but who doesn’t like a little reason to celebrate. BUT when your birthday and valentine’s fall so close to each other, the gifting timeline gets blurred! Although I don’t like to soak myself up in red to go with the theme, but I do like a little colour on my lips. And I’ve been wearing the L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Pure Reds lipsticks non stop ever since I got them. Love the pigmentation and staying power. You know I hate to touch up, so these matte lippers are a staple for me. In this look, I’m wearing Pure Scarleto which is a warm red by Blake Lively. Continue Reading…
